PEARLS, PEARLS, PEARLS...

Jackie Kennedy: “Pearls are always appropriate.”

Whether it’s your private bedroom, the guest powder room, the dining room where you host the most or the cutest patisserie, its timeless elegance and mystique wonders make it always appropriate.

At LALA CURIO, we love pushing boundaries to make dreams come true.

If we can have pearls for fashion, why can’t we have them on walls?

Each and every pearl is meticulously hand-embroidered onto our luxury silk wallpaper, bringing the timeless iridescence shimmer with three-dimensionality to your sumptuous interiors.

Honouring the skilled hands of our dearest community of artisans with generations of know-how in traditional “gong bi” painting techniques of 18th century Chinoiserie scenic panoramas, collectively with our young, visionary minds, we push boundaries to create extraordinary, dreamy works of art relevant for today.

As a mother of two, I am pleased to be able to empower other women to get back to the work force again, to blossom their talent and build a small community of liked minds away from their everyday routines. Our atelier encourages creative freedom where artisans derive so much joy from our playful designs and find confidence through their creations. Each and every embellishment is hand-embroidered with love, passion and precision.

“Pearls don’t lie on the seashore, if you want one, you must dive for it.” Chinese Proverb

Like all things special and wonderful, we must make the effort to “dive” for it. Reminding to push ourselves out of comforts to live a life of adventures, excellence and imagination.
