Located at the heart of Central at the very top of H Queen’s, is Hong Kong’s first rooftop guinguette. With a mesmerizing view from Victoria Harbour to the Peak, one can unwind with enticing drinks and a choice of delectable dining. As fairy lights join the dazzling night sky, an unforgettable night is set and ready to be conquered.
As the lift doors open, one is instantly enveloped in the bold and distinguishable work of LALA CURIO. Custom made, a roseate canvas is a base to a vivid and brazen colour pallette and meticulously chosen. The eye-catching array of cloud trees and flocking birds sets the tone and the mood of this whimsical “Piqniq” land. The inspiration is derived from the poetic landscapes and flora & fauna of the Orient. Patterns derived from our Cloud Tree ensemble, are hand-drawn by the curious minds of LALA CURIO, translated into tiles spanning across the full length, setting a playful spirit throughout. Continuing with eyes set on Yayoi Kusama’s own polka-dot pumpkin sculpture, the display leads into an alfresco space all set up and decked out with the most comfortable of seats and good vibe music projecting around.
All around, one can be seated and enjoy from their own picnic baskets an array of wines, champagnes, and cocktails can be enjoyed with a select plate while enjoying the captivating, unique terrace view.
Founder and interior designer, Laura Cheung Wolf’s house is an art itself. This place is a combination of love, family, and her view of art. Laura decorates every corner precisely by using refined decorations, chinoiserie furniture, and hand-painted wallpaper.
